Hello

George Michaelides (Lead physiotherapist) graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science from Hertfordshire University in 2002 and pursued a second BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Kings College London to merge his passions for health, sport, and rehabilitation.

With over 8 years as a specialist Personal Trainer, he creates structured rehabilitation programs that prioritise recovery and overall fitness. After earning an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary’s University London in 2007, George gained over 19 years extensive experience in various settings. Senior roles have included musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rotations in the NHS and rehabilitation positions with Tottenham Hotspurs Ladies and football academies with Charlton Athletic and West Ham United FC.

Having worked in private practice for over 14 years, he is recognised by major medical insurers and specialises in musculoskeletal, sport and exercise medicine. He has a keen interest in knee pain and persistent back pain disorders and has been involved in research projects utilising Cognitive Functional Therapy approaches pioneered by Professor Peter O'Sullivan.

George completed his Soft Tissue and Joint Injection Therapy training, and plans in the future to complete modules in Independent Prescribing and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

George's personable, honest and caring approach allows him to understand his patients' challenges and their impact on daily life. George takes most pride in saying goodbye to patients as they return to their lives, having achieved their therapy goals.
