​George Michaelides (Lead physiotherapist) graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Kings College London in 2005 having previously completed a BSc (Hons) Sports Science from Hertfordshire University. George continued to pursue his passions for health, sport, and rehabilitation achieving an MSc in Sport and Exercise Medicine from Queen Mary’s University London in 2007. George has over 19 years of extensive Physiotherapy experience in various settings. Senior roles have included musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rotations in the NHS and pitch side and rehabilitation positions with Tottenham Hotspurs Ladies and Charlton Athletic FC and West Ham United FC Academies. Additionally, George has over 8 years as a specialist Personal Trainer, creating structured rehabilitation programs that prioritise recovery and overall fitness.  

Having worked in private practice for over 15 years, he is recognised by major medical insurers and specialises in musculoskeletal, sport and exercise medicine. He has a keen interest in knee pain and persistent back pain disorders and has been involved in research projects utilising Cognitive Functional Therapy approaches pioneered by Professor Peter O'Sullivan.  George completed his Soft Tissue and Joint Injection Therapy training, and plans in the future to complete modules in Independent Prescribing and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.  

George's personable, honest and caring approach allows him to understand his patients' challenges and their impact on daily life. George takes most pride in saying goodbye to patients as they return to their lives, having achieved their therapy goals.​
